La quille - The keel

• 16 Janvier 2008: le moule du bulbe en bois a été découpé numériquement.
• 16 January 2008: the mold of the keel bulb has been cut numerically out of wood.

• 18 Janvier 2008: le moule du bulbe terminé.
• 18 January 2008: the mold of the keel bulb finished.

• 21 mars 2008: le coeur du voile de la quille en bois, découpé numériquement. Le voile a été aminci à certains endroit pour tenir compte des épaisseurs de fibre de verre.
• 21 March 2008: the core of the keel fin in wood has been cut numerically. In some places, the thickness of the core has been reduced to take into account the thickness of the fibreglass layers.

• 6 juin 2008: Le bulbe a été coulé. La quille pèse à peu près 3000 kg, dont 2700 kg de plomb dans le bulbe.
• 6 June 2008: The bulb completed. The keel weighs about 3000 kg, thereof 2700 kg of lead in the bulb.

• 12 juin 2008: la quille est prête pour l'infusion. Le voile et le bulbe ont été recouvert de 22 couches de fibre de verre.
• 12 June 2008: the keel is ready for the infusion. The fin and the bulb have been covered with 22 layers of glass fiber.

• 25 juin 2008: l'infusion de la quille.
• 25 June 2008: the infusion of the keel.

• 30 juin 2008: Le début du travail de finition.
• 30 June 2008: the start of the finishing touches.
